Subscription
A charger is connected when its data reaches the EdgeTech platform. That connection is the subscription: app, history and exports, remote support, warnings, firmware updates, REST API and AI control. Without it, charging, plug and charge and load balancing keep working locally. Bound to the site controller, not to a phone.
What it covers
- The MyCharger app with remote start and stop, schedules and solar modes.
- Charging history and exports for expense claims.
- Firmware updates in the field, for the site controller and the charge controller.
- Remote support: the chat with live status, diagnostics from the app.
- Warnings before the call: the platform watches every connected charger and warns by push or email when it goes offline, when WiFi is weak, when Modbus quality drops, when an error bit is set (over-temperature, stuck relay, ground fault, DC leakage, pilot out of range), when an update fails, when the site limit is hit too often or the P1 signal is lost. Exact list and thresholds to be confirmed.
- Sessions in your calendar: start, stop and kWh of every session, live. Which calendars, and whether the cost goes in the event: to be confirmed.
- The REST API for Home Assistant and DIY.
- AI control through the chat and the app.
Without it
Charging, plug and charge and dynamic load balancing keep working, locally, forever. The charger does not stop.
Terms
Six months, one, two or five years. About € 60 per year. Prices to be confirmed. A free trial period applies to new chargers. The subscription belongs to the site controller: a new phone, a second user or a reinstall does not cost subscription days.
For wholesalers and OEMs
The same subscription, called the support subscription on the commercial side. What you get on top, fleet view, per-fleet API and a digest of your installed base, is being defined.
